Current Status of projects can be seen below. How do you read this? It's quite simple really. My translating is done in a series of steps. First, I take the Mandarin subtitles and convert them to pinyin. I then translate the pinyin to English. From English I reconstruct the sentences to make sense to a what a normal person can understand, but trying to not lose too much in the translation process. Remember, English uses a lot of slang, so you may see something like a literal translation of "looks like someone is fake" into something like "looks like someone is all talk"... to English the latter would make more sense. After Translating, I'll edit to make sure there aren't many spelling errors. Timing is aligning the subtitles at the right time their spoken, etc. After that, the subtitle will be release as a .srt file which can be loaded with the video using your media player. I will also upload the parts in 10 minute intervals on Youtube.com for people who can not download. All subtitles will be timed to YDY raws.
